is self-sustaining through administrative fees collected from bond issues and interest earned on loans and other investments. The IDA does not receive any County or State funding.
saves taxpayers money through approval of tax-exempt financing for Prince William County Government projects, waiving customary administrative fees for County Government Projects.
acts as a conduit to pass-through funds for County Economic Development Opportunity Fund (EDOF) grants and Virginia Commonweath Development Opportunity Fund (CDOF) grants as approved by the Board of County Supervisors for targeted industries.
