The Prince William County Industrial Development Authority:

  • is self-sustaining through administrative fees collected from bond issues and interest earned on loans and other investments. The IDA does not receive any County or State funding.

  • saves taxpayers money through approval of tax-exempt financing for Prince William County Government projects, waiving customary administrative fees for County Government Projects.

  • acts as a conduit to pass-through funds for County Economic Development Opportunity Fund (EDOF) grants and Virginia Commonweath Development Opportunity Fund (CDOF) grants as approved by the Board of County Supervisors for targeted industries.
