QUALIFICATION CRITERIA

The Prince William County Industrial Development Authority (IDA) is pleased to announce our 2025 Grant Program for Nonprofit Organizations within Prince William County. The amount of the grant will be at the discretion of the IDA Board and will not exceed $5,000. This grant program is active until 2025 budgeted funds run out. 

I)    Objectives of the IDA Nonprofit Organization Grant Program: 

  1. Foster Social impact by promoting the health and welfare of the citizens of Prince William County: The primary objective of grant allocation is to contribute to positive health and welfare within Prince William County and address critical social issues.

  2. Promote Collaboration: Encourage collaboration and partnerships among Community Based Partners and entities to maximize the effectiveness of their programs and services.

  3. Empower Innovation: Support innovative approaches, projects, and initiatives that have the potential to create significant and sustainable change.

  4. Ensure Accountability: Promote transparency, accountability, and responsible use of funds by requiring regular reporting and evaluation of grant outcomes.

II)    Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Entities must validate registration with the Virginia State Corporation as a nonprofit organization.

  2. Entities must validate the time operating in Prince William County.

  3. Entities must validate their employees and support staff, or primary contract support size as follows:
    a) SMALL = 1 to 10 employees and support staff
    b) MEDIUM = 11 to 20 employees and support staff
    c) LARGE = 21 and above employees and support staff

  4. Entities must validate a current annual revenue stream as follows:

    a) Up to $15,000
    b)  Between $15,001 and $25,000
    c)  Above $25,001
